TERMS AND CONDITIONS

For booking of programmes and facilities

  1. General

    • In these Terms and Conditions,

      •  “facilities” means all facilities under our purview, including but not limited to our badminton courts, multi-purpose halls, PAssion Wave outlets and accompanying equipment;  
      • “programmes” means courses, programmes, events, activities and interest groups that are organised or conducted by us or is otherwise under our purview that are available for registration on the site. 
      • “site” means [onePA.gov.sg] where you may book the facilities and register for programmes;
      • “we”, “our”, “us” refers to the People’s Association and its affiliated organisations (which includes but is not limited to Community Club Management Committees, Community Development Councils and such other grassroots organisations); and
      • “you”, “your” refers to the person making a booking under these Terms and Conditions. 
    • These Terms and Conditions must be read in conjunction with: 

      • the Site’s Terms of Use (Terms of Use);
      • our Privacy Policy (onePA - Privacy Policy); and 
      • such other instructions or guidelines that we may issue from time to time relating to the use of our facilities and/or participation in our programmes. 
    • These Terms and Conditions apply to all facilities bookings and registration for our programmes. 
    • If you are below 18 years old, facilities bookings and registration for programmes are subject to your parent or legal guardian giving consent for the same and their agreement to these Terms and Conditions. 
  2. Registration for our programmes

    • Registration is on a first-come-first served basis. 

      Registration on behalf of others
    • If you are registering on behalf of others (each an “Applicant”), it is your responsibility to draw each Applicant’s attention to these Terms and Conditions and obtain their agreement to the same accordingly.

      General programme rules
    • A programme may have prerequisites or additional requirements supplementing these Terms and Conditions.  If there are any inconsistencies between the prerequisites or additional requirements and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
    • We reserve the right to modify the programme content without prior notice. We will inform you if there are changes to the programme venue, fees or if there is a need to cancel or reschedule the programme. 
    • When participating in the programme, you must:

      • take care of the premises where the programme is conducted and the equipment used and not cause damage to the same; and
      • conduct yourself appropriately. We reserve the right to remove any participant from the programme and/or our premises if he/she is difficult, uncooperative or whose conduct we deem to be unreasonable and detrimental to the enjoyment, interests, safety or well-being of other participants. Our decision is final and we will not make any refund if you behave or act in such a manner.  
    • You may be provided with course materials and/or resources for the programme. They are for your personal and non-commercial use only. You are not permitted to copy, reproduce, modify, transmit, distribute, publish or otherwise commercially exploit such course materials without our prior written consent. Any health or other information which may be provided are general in nature for information purposes only and is not to be treated as medical, legal or professional advice. 

      Payment and refunds
    • Full payment is required at the time of registration in order to confirm your place in the programme. 
    • Once confirmed, a registration is non-transferable and non-cancellable. Any request for cancellation and/or a refund is subject to our consideration and approval. 
    • If we need to cancel or reschedule a programme (or any part of it), we reserve the right to either (i) conduct a replacement session of the programme or (ii) offer a refund for the affected programme (of any part of it).  
  3. Warranties and risk acknowledgment

    • Each programme may have its own inherent risks that may include but is not limited to contact risk, heat risk etc.
    • By participating in the programme, you warrant and represent that you are physically and medically able to participate and have no physical or medical condition that would endanger your life or make your participation in the programme unsafe or dangerous to you or to others.
    • While reasonable precaution will be taken to ensure your safety, you understand that:

      • For low/moderate risk programmes: your participation in the programme is strictly voluntary and involves certain risks, including the inherent risks of the programme. You confirm that you have no physical or medical condition would make your participation in the programme unsafe for yourself or others. You agree to:

        1. - cooperate fully with our staff and trainers and abide by all instructions, safety processes and systems for the programme; and
        2. - inform our staff and trainers if you feel unwell at any time during the programme session or if you do not wish to continue participating in the programme.
      • For high risk programmes]: your participation in the programme is strictly voluntary and involves certain risks, including the inherent risks of the programme. You confirm that you have no physical or medical condition would make your participation in the programme unsafe for yourself or others. You agree to:


        1. - participate in the programme only if your current state of health permits. If necessary, please seek advice from a medical practitioner before participating;
        2. - cooperate fully with our staff and trainers and abide by all instructions, safety processes and systems for the programme; and
        3. - inform our staff and trainers if you feel unwell at any time during the programme session or if you do not wish to continue participating in the programme.
    • To the extent permitted by law, you will not hold us and/or our agents liable for any loss or damage to your property arising from your participation in the programme.
    • During the programme, if you deliberately or negligently cause any injury to any person or any damage to or loss of any property of any person, you shall indemnify us if the person who suffered injury, loss or damage claims or takes action against us or if we have to pay for costs or expenses in relation to the same.
  4. Booking and use of facilities

    • All bookings are on a first-come-first-served basis, subject to availability and full payment of fees. In addition to booking on the site, you may also book the facility and make payment [at your nearest community club/centre].
    • We reserve the right to approve or reject an application for the booking of any of our facilities.
    • Our facilities are open for booking as follows

      • Badminton courts: up to 15 days in advance;
      • Multi-purpose halls and other available facilities: Please check with the respective community club/centre where the multi-purpose hall/ facility is located for further details;
    • To enable everyone to have an opportunity to enjoy our facilities, each person can book:

      • Sports facilities such as badminton courts for maximum of two (2) hours per person per day.

        • Booking of multiple courts at the same location for the same timeslot is not permitted;
        • Booking of multiple locations for the same timeslot is not permitted; and
        • You may be subjected to onsite checks. Please be ready to present your identification document and booking receipts.

      Booking on behalf of others

    • If you are making a booking on behalf of others (each a “User”), it is your responsibility to draw each User’s attention to these Terms and Conditions and obtain their agreement to the same accordingly.
    • We reserve the right to verify that the individuals using the facility at the allotted booking time correspond to the individuals stated in the booking. We reserve the right to cancel a booking in the event of a breach of this clause.
      General rules of use of facilities
    • Our facilities must be used for community, social or recreational purposes only.

      • There shall strictly be no transfer, assignment, sub-letting or re-selling of a booking.
      • Commercial activities (including but not limited to coaching, inviting other individuals to share the use of the facility at a fee), religious activities and such other activities which in our view are not conducted for community, social or recreational purposes are strictly prohibited.

      We may conduct onsite checks and reserve the right to cancel the booking without refund and/or stop all prohibited activities immediately if you are found to have breached this clause.

    • We reserve the right to close any facility (or any part of it) and cancel any affected booking without prior notice for reasons including but not limited to:

      • circumstances beyond our control;
      • in the interest of public health or public safety; or
      • if closure is ordered by the relevant authorities.

      There shall be no refund of booking fees in such circumstances.

    • You must conduct yourself appropriately when using our facilities. We reserve the right to remove any person from our facility or premises if he/she is difficult, uncooperative or whose conduct we deem to be unreasonable and detrimental to the enjoyment, interests, safety or well-being of other persons. Our decision is final and we will not make any refund if you behave or act in such a manner.
    • All facilities and equipment are provided on an as-is basis. You are to leave our facilities in the same good condition as when you first entered. Any equipment loaned to you for use must also be returned to us in their original condition and location. We are not responsible for any of your personal belonging in any way.
    • You must abide by all reasonable instructions and requests made by our staff.
    • You must use the facilities in accordance with your booking details and timing. At the end of your booking, you must remove all your belongings, waste and rubbish from the facilities and vacate the facilities.
    • No smoking or consumption of alcoholic beverages is permitted in our facilities.

      Payment and refunds
    • Full payment is required at the time of registration in order to confirm your booking of the facility.
    • There shall be no refund of booking fees:

      • if you decide to cancel the booking; or
      • if your booking was rescheduled by us and the booking fee for the replacement slot differs from the original booking fee paid, you will either be refunded the difference or be required to pay for the difference in the fees (as the case may be).

      Warranties and indemnities

    • By using our facilities, you warrant and represent that you are physically and medically able to use the facility and carry out such activities and have no physical or medical condition that would endanger your life or make your use of the facility unsafe or dangerous to you or to others.
    • If you deliberately or negligently cause any injury to any person or any damage to or loss of any property of any person during your use of the facility, you shall indemnify us if the person who suffered injury, loss or damage claims or takes action against us or if we have to pay for costs or expenses in relation to the same.
    • You shall be liable for any damage caused to the facility, equipment or property in the facility. You shall pay for any damage caused by any act or neglect of you or other Users of the facility.
    • To the extent permitted by law, you will not hold us responsible for any damage, loss of property, injury, death or any other loss or damage howsoever arising in connection with the booking and use of the facility.
  5. Data policy

    • This paragraph is to be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.
    • We may collect, use and/or disclose your personal data for various reasons, including the following: 

      • processing and managing your programme registrations and facility bookings;
      • looking into and answering any queries or feedback that you may bring to our attention; 
      • to verify your identity and allow access to our programmes and/or facilities;
      • to conduct market research, survey and/or analysis;
      • improving user experience on the site;
      • informing you of other programmes, events, memberships and purposes if you have given us consent to do so; 
      • ensuring compliance with these Terms and Conditions; and
      • to fulfil a legal or regulatory requirement or to comply with a court order.

     

  6. Miscellaneous

    • You declare and confirm that all information provided in respect of your registration or booking is true, complete and correct. Any person who does not provide true, complete and correct information during the registration or booking process may have their registration or booking (as the case may be) cancelled. 
    • We may require you to produce a copy of the booking / registration confirmation together with a valid photo identification for verification purposes before your participation in a programme or use of a facility. 

    • Individuals who do not comply with these Terms and Conditions or who attempt to circumvent, abuse or otherwise disregard these Terms and Conditions may be subject to temporary or permanent bans from registering for any programme or booking any facility. 

    • We reserve the right to amend, add to, delete from or vary any part of these Terms and Conditions without prior notification. The amended terms and conditions will be available at [onePA.gov.sg].

    • If any court finds that any provision in these Terms and Conditions (or any part of a provision) is invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision or part of it shall, to the extent required, be deemed to be deleted, and the validity and enforceability of the other provisions in these Terms and Conditions shall not be affected. 

    • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore.


IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR TICKET HOLDERS

ADMISSION INTO OTH EVENTS

Terms and Conditions:

Ticket holders are deemed to have read, understood and accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of People’s Association (PA), Our Tampines Hub (OTH) on redeeming tickets for entry to activity / event / show within OTH.

  1.  Tickets are available to redeem from 26 July 2026, 10am on a first-come-first-confirm basis.

  2.  Redemption through valid NRIC entry on ticket redemption website.

  3.  Each NRIC entry is allowed to redeem maximum two (2) tickets.

  4.  Admission will commence at 3pm on Sunday, 9 August 2026. Ticket will be invalid after 5.30pm.

  5.  Admission to show/venue by full ticket only. Printed / electronic tickets must be produced for admission. Circulation of tickets is strictly prohibited.

  6.  Always have ticket (printed / electronic) with you as proof for re-entry. 

  7.  NO goodie bags will be distributed during this event.

  8.  Tickets not required for infants in arms and individuals below the height of 90cm.

  9.  Individuals above the height of 90cm will require a ticket for admission.

  10.  There will be security checks. Ticket holders are advised to check their gate number and tickets in advance, head to the designated security checks upon arrival.

  11.  Should any ticket holder require assistance, they can approach event crew members and/or volunteers.

  12.  In the event of emergency, please follow the directions of event crew and/or volunteers.

  13.  The event is expected to end around 8.45pm on 9 August 2026. Ticket holders must exit Town Square in a calm and orderly manner.

  14.  OTH reserves the right to deny admission, prevent entry or require a person already admitted to leave for failure to comply with any of OTH’s rules, for unsafe, illegal or offensive behaviour, to ensure safety, security or order, or if we consider that the circumstances otherwise so require, in our sole and absolute discretion.

  15.  OTH and its organising committee reserves the rights to add, withdraw, or substitute artistes and / or vary advertised programmes, event times, seating arrangements etc without prior notice.

  16.  OTH and its organising committee may postpone, cancel, interrupt, or stop the event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, or any other causes beyond his reasonable control.

  17.  OTH and its organising committee may use the ticket holder's image or likeness in any live or recorded video display, pictures, publicity material or websites.

  18.  No individual at the Event shall make or exploit any recording, transmission and/or broadcast, whether audio, visual or audio visual, by any means or media whatsoever of the Event (including any activities or performances of the Event) for commercial or for-profit purposes. If any individual at the Event makes such recording, transmission and/or broadcast, or if PA has grounds to suspect that such recording, transmission and/or broadcast is being made, PA may, without compensation or explanation, search, confiscate and/or remove any equipment used or suspected to be used for the making of such recording, transmission and/or broadcast.

  19.  Whilst reasonable precautions will be taken by PA to ensure ticket holders’ safety during and at the Event, ticket holder takes part in the Event at his or her own risk and shall take reasonable care of himself or herself. To the fullest extent permissible by law, none of PA, its related corporations and associated companies, the employees, officers, third party service provider(s), contractor(s) (and the sub-contractor(s) engaged by such contractor(s)) and agent(s) of PA and its related corporations and associated companies, and Event sponsors or co-sponsors will be responsible or held liable for any injury or death, loss, damage of personal belongings of an ticket holder howsoever arising from preparation for, attendance at or participation in the Event. Ticket holders are strongly encouraged to consult his or her medical practitioner prior before entering the Event.

  20.  Ticket holders shall be mindful of other visitors and members of the public within the Event and in the vicinity of the Event venue and shall cooperate with PA staff to ensure a safe environment for all such Participants and members of the public. All Participants shall adhere to all reasonable requests made by PA staff

  21.  PA may, in our sole discretion, update and amend this Terms and Conditions at any time and without liability or prior notice to you. By proceeding with your registration and your attendance to the Event following such update shall constitute your agreement to be bound by the updated terms of this Terms and Conditions.

  22.  Privacy Policy
  23. We may collect, use and/or disclose your personal data for various reasons, including the following: processing and managing your programme registrations;
